Was hoping to have had more time and ride Mattole Rd through to the Redwoods. I did that route with our Harley Group back in 2018 or 19. Our ride planner didn’t realize the road was being maintained. It would be perfect on my VStrom. Another trip for that ride.

Rider 112

I left happy camp for this in 105 degree heat. Jumped in the river twice. Got to Ferndale at 60 degrees wearing my sweatshirt and two rain coats just to keep from freezing. Next time remind me to bring my coat no matter the weather report.
